We started out as a mission plant church. Our beginnings compelled us to stay true to our values.  We value the, “Go ye into all the world,” command from Jesus. His plan has never changed.  We are to invest our resources as a church into the lives of missionaries and church planting.

Carlos and Carmen Martinez

Meet Carlos and Carmen Martinez
Carlos and Carmen were missionaries with Campus Crusades now CRU, for more than thirty years.  He and Pastor Shelton have partnered in mission work since 1995.
Currently, Carlos and Carmen are leading a new church plant in a fast growing area outside of Monterrey, Mexico.
Pastor Shelton and Mrs. Jan have worked along side Carlos and Carmen serving in Medicine Missions, showing the Jesus Film, and children’s sporting events each ending with a gospel presentation.
Caney Mountain Horse Camp

Bro. Delane Hooten conducting a baptism in the river at Caney Mountain Horse Camp.

This off campus site is our delight.  Delane and Wendy Hooten meet new families each week who are coming for a horse back trail adventure and then go to church where Delane is faithful to preach the Word.  Sunday morning Cowboy Church Service starts at 9am. Delane is part of our leadership team and we are excited about having this off campus church partnership.

Caney Mountain Horse Camp is located in the beautiful wilderness area of the lower Buffalo River and Ozark National Forrest, between Big Flat and Norfork Arkansas.  The camp is 8 miles off the highway, but well worth the trip.  There are 30 plus campsites, horse pens, water, and a very nice bath house with hot showers.  Comfortable rooms for rent if you don’t have a camper, delicious full course breakfast and supper available.  Miles and miles of horse trails and hiking trails with breathtaking scenery.  We would love to have you join us if you’re in the area, or just

Local Missions
Helping Seniors in our community is a part of our mission work.  We have teams who love serving our area helping those in need.  If you would like to be a part of this give us a call.

Building a ramp for someone in need.

Once a year, we host a “Cowboy for a Day” event where students from the local community school have the opportunity to ride horses, rope, enjoy a hay ride, camp fire, and a meal. It is our joy as much as theirs to participate in this event.

One Tree Ministries
Mountain Top is proud to be a part of One Tree Ministries, a multi-church cooperative ministry focused on area youth. Our future depends on the faith of tomorrows leaders, and it is our charge today to introduce them to Jesus Christ, and help them grow in their faith. One God. One Savior. One Purpose.
