Worth More Than The Worst

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8, NKJV

A man is worth more than the worst he has ever done.

I do not know how many times while talking to someone about Christ and salvation, I hear something like this “well you just do not know what I have done.” And they are right, but God knows. In western movies, how many times does the town drunk have a hand in saving the day? Or the coward makes a stand to help?

In the Bible, we read about an angel visiting with Gideon and calls him a mighty man of valor even while he is hiding from the very people God wants him to fight. David was just a shepherd boy and fought Goliath when the whole army was hiding. You can say, “I would never,” but you do not know until that time.

Any person can tell you how many seeds are in an apple. Only God can tell you how many apples are in a seed. God does not care what we look like, He only cares what we are on the inside. God called King David, “a man after my own heart.” High praise from God. But David was a murderer and an adulterer. So, when you are talking to someone and they say, “Well you just do not know what I have done.” Remind them of Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Remember God Loves everyone and the only unpardonable sin is not believing there is an almighty God.

God Bless,
Pastor Jimmy
